Véritable symbole de Rio, on confond souvent le Pain de Sucre, « Pão de Açúcar », avec le Corcovado. Le sommet culmine à 395 m de hauteur et est accessible par 2 téléphériques, en passant par le Morro da Urca. Le trajet offre une vue panoramique sur les environs à couper le souffle et du sommet, on voit les plages de Leme, Copacabana et Ipanema, ainsi que les quartiers de Botafogo et Flamengo.

Aussi: au pied du Pain de sucre se trouve une plage plutôt tranquille en matinée. En empruntant le sentier, on se retrouve en pleine végétation avec des oiseaux colorés et un chemin qui longe la colline !
